Hartwell, James L. Age 84, born in Tamarack, MN. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and brother, James Hartwell. Jim went home Jan. 22nd, 2020 after a long, brave, but always good-humored battle with cancer and dementia. By his side were his wife Nancy, children, and extended family. We thank all who helped with Jim's transition to heaven. Jim is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Elizabeth (Gary), Laura, Michael (Trisha); 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Kay Hanson; 2 nephews; many dear friends; and much loved pets, Daisy and Abby. A memorial service will be held for James on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 at First Congregational Church (1923 3rd Ave, Anoka) at 1 PM with visitation 1 hour prior. Private interment to follow.
