Schoon, Eugene "Gene" Age 82, of Big Lake, formerly of Cokato, passed away peacefully at home on January 10, 2020. Preceded in death by parents, Benjamin and Eileen; brothers, Alvin, Edwin, and Garry; in-laws, Louis and Cheryl. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Donna; children, Dwayne (Nancy), Kristin (Chuck) Stevenson, Verna (Thomas) Otto, Aaron (Matt) and Allison; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grand-children and 2 on the way; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ken (Marlys), Elmer, Bernard (Lois), Gaylene, and Kathy (Alan); sisters-in-law, Hilda Mary and Diane, extended family and friends. Memorial service Saturday, February 8th at 1PM at Historic Catholic Church of St. Michael (Alleluia Lutheran Church), 14 Main St N., St. Michael. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family.
