Peters, Julia Ann age 70 of Minneapolis, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2019. Preceded in death by her parents Louis and Marie Gilligan; brother Ron Crawford and many beloved pets. Survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Kurt; son Cuinn; daughter Caitlin and her wife Jaimie Kenealy; granddaughter Landon; sister Barbara and her husband Hank Cackoski; brother Tom Gilligan; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She retired in 2015 after working for the Minneapolis Public School District as an early childhood parent educator for 42 years. A celebration of her life will be held at the Cremation Society of MN, 4343 Nicollet Ave Minneapolis, MN 55409 from 11am-1pm on Saturday, December 7th. Donations to the humane society preferred in lieu of flowers.
