Johnsen, Barbara E. was born in Minneapolis, MN to Melvin and Shirley (Hulda) Johnsen on June 7, 1948. She passed away peace- fully at the age of 71 on November 28, 2019. After graduating from Roosevelt High School, Barb worked in the Minneapolis Public Library system. Barb was a lifelong Minneapolis resident. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by siblings, Lynell Anderson (Robert), her twin Bruce Johnsen (Susan), Karin Anderson (Larry), Linda Becker (Robert); nephews and nieces, Scott Anderson, Terri Smith, Stacy Anderson, Jeff Johnsen, Julia Johnsen; grand nephews and nieces; and many lifelong friends. Barb enjoyed spending her time with family and friends traveling, taking walks around the lakes, playing games, and enjoying a good meal and conversation. We will miss her smile and laughter. Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 11-2 pm at the Cremation Society, 7110 France Ave., Edina. Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society and Parkinson's Foundation.
