Helgerson, John T. age 80 of Victoria MN passed away Nov 12, 2019 surrounded by family at his home. He is survived and dearly missed by his wife, Martha; his daughters Rachel (Greg) Bowar and Melody (Gary) Woodward; his sons Chris and Brian; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. John spent his career years in Corporate Management. Since his retirement from Allianz Life in 2005 he enjoyed golfing, visiting distant family and friends and loved watching grandchildren grow to adulthood. He was a dedicated volunteer for St Victoria Catholic Church, Basilica of St Mary, Love Inc, Sharing and Caring Hands, St Stephen's Human Services and various other humanitarian organizations. On Nov. 23 a 10am memorial gathering preceding an 11am Mass of Celebration held at St Victoria Catholic Church. Refreshments will follow. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or St Jude's Children's Hospital.
