Kinney, Audrey Passed away on Nov. 8, 2019 at the age of 95. She was born in Clear Lake, WI, and attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, where she met her future husband, James Kinney. In 1955 they moved to Glenwood, where Audrey lived until she entered memory care in 2009. Audrey was very active in the Glenwood community. She was an avid golfer and tennis player, and enjoyed gardening, reading, bird-watching, socializing, and traveling. She is survived by her daughters Kristin (Gary) Hays, Allison (Jeff) Halvorson, Ann (Ted) Allison, and Jane Kinney; grandchildren Amy Hays, Andrew (Nicole) Hays, Syverind (Jill) Halvorson, Leif (Mary Kate) Halvorson, Ben (Aimee) Allison, and Rachel Allison; and great-grandchildren Logan, Mason, and Chloe Hays. Her sister-in-law Mary Ellefson and her brother-in-law Owen Anderson also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim, her siblings Georgine Nilssen, Roxann Anderson, and James Hallen, granddaughter Mari Lea Allison and great-granddaughter Laney Marie Hays. She will be remembered for her graciousness, sense of humor, love of music, dedication to her family and community, and her excellent hostessing skills.
