Timerson, Mavis Irene age 91 of Edina, Minnesota, passed away on September 19, 2019. Mavis was a happy, fun-loving, generous person. She liked to play cards and board games with her sister, children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, their children, and friends. In her younger years she liked to garden, bake, can vegetables and make preserves. She was an avid "garage saler," loved to refinish furniture, travel, boat, and fish. Her favorite trips were to Lutsen to downhill ski. She enjoyed an active and entertaining life. Mavis is survived by sons Benjamin and Brian (Bridget), grandchildren Madeline, Anna, and Brynn, sister Marvis (Forest) Glick, and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Duane, brother Clinton (June-living) Oslund, sister Janette (Andy) Linden, and parents Clarence and Florence Oslund. Funeral services 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25th at Vista Lutheran Church, 4003 Wooddale Ave. S., St. Louis Park, MN. There will be a visitation at 10:00 a.m., one hour before the service at the church.
