Brenk, Victor N. Age 95 of Brooklyn Park passed away on September 17, 2019. Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Emily; stepfather Rudy Hartmann; sisters, Beatrice DeChaine & Anita Paidosh. Survived by wife of 68 wonderful years, Lorraine; children, Kathy (Scott Morse) Koch, Tom (Pat), Barb (Dean) Goldberg, Jan, Jeff (Maureen), Mike (Mary Alice), Gary (Denise Pearson); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great granddaughter, nieces and nephews; sister, Marianne (Dwayne) Dombeck. Born in St.Michael, MN and graduated from Buffalo High School. Served in General Patton's Third Army in the 851st Ordnance Division behind the front lines. After the war worked at World Tool and Engineering. In 1962 he and partner Tom Love started Basic Industries, a Precision Machine Shop, they machined parts for the Apollo Solar Project and also for the very first Moon landing in 1969. After retirement in 1986, he and Lorraine spent winters in Florida at Burnt Store Marina, Punta Gorda.Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 24 at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 835 - 2nd Ave. NW, New Brighton. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens. Visitation 4-8 PM Monday with prayer service at 6:30 PM at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME-ROSEVILLE, 2130 N. Dale St. @ Cty Rd B. and from 9:30-10:30 AM Tuesday at the church.
