Brakken, Larry Martin born 8-26-1965 passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 4, 2019. Larry was a proud volunteer fire fighter for the Hopkins Fire Department of 15 years. Preceded in death by his parents Joyce & Margaret Brakken; sister Marcy Brakken; brother Reed Brakken; his beloved uncle Gary, Survived by wife Lynn Brakken; son Tanner Brakken (mother Kim Powers-Brakken); aunt Maxine; siblings Tamara Knudson, Meegan Picott; several nieces & nephews; his dog Remi; and Lucky the cat. Larry was a member of the Elks. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2-6 PM at the Elks Lodge, 30 - 8th Ave S, Hopkins.
