Kiefat, Ervin R. Age 87 of Coon Rapids passed away September 5, 2019. Ervin was born on December 28, 1931 to William and Tena (Hanson) Kiefat and was raised in Aneta, ND. He served in the Air Force for four years, beginning in 1952. Ervin and Linda were married on November 7, 1958 and moved to Minneapolis. He worked at Minnesota Rubber Company for 34 years prior to retiring in 1992. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda of 60 years; son Elwood (Brenda) Kiefat; daughters Barb (John) Perrault and Cheryl (Dave) Malecha; grandchildren Jamie Kiefat, Matt Perrault, Jay Perrault and Morgan Malecha; brothers Maynard (Avis) Kiefat, Duane (Paulette) Kiefat; sisters Darlene Halvorson and Velma Kiefat. Preceded in death by parents; daughter Lisa Kiefat; sisters Frances (Arvid) Swenson, Delores (Doug) Froelich, Bernice (Ray) Schramm and Diane Mardikian. Memorials preferred to and will be directed to Veteran's organizations.
