Morse, Charles Edward age 95, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2019. "Chuck" was born and raised in Wenatchee, WA. He served in the U.S. Navy, graduated from the University of Minnesota and began a lifelong career as a mechanical engineer, including for Owens Cos. He was married to the love of his life Charlotte (nee Painter) for 70 years until his death. Together they raised a large family at home in Bloomington, MN, where all were welcome. They weathered good times and bad, including mourning the deaths of four children from genetic disorders. Chuck was a beloved husband, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved dancing, swing bands, cribbage, traveling, camping and sailing, and he shared these generously with the many kids who gravitated toward his kindness and sense of adventure. Preceded in death by children Rachel, David, Daniel and James. Survived by wife Charlotte; children Helen (Paul) Olson, Charles (Julie) Morse, Elizabeth (Bill) Boyle, John (Sundae) Morse; grandchildren Ben, Sarah, Andrew, Charlie, Emily, Clara, Michael; and great-grandchildren Jackson, Rowan, Calvin and Rainnah.
