Andrews, Marla Gay of Plymouth, formerly of Dallas County, IA. Marla passed away 8/14/19 at Methodist Hospital Minneapolis MN after a 4 year battle with liver cancer. Upon diagnosis she was given 9 months to live. Marla was born 9/17/57 in Allerton, IA. She was raised on the family farm in De Soto, IA and graduated from Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School in Dallas County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Milly (Gay) Andrews. Survived by her sons, Michael Oberembt (Robbins-dale, MN) and Lance Oberembt (Minneapolis, MN); siblings, Myles (Linda) Andrews (Benton City, WA) and Lee (Luke) Lenahan (Asheville, NC); husband, David Williams (Plymouth, MN) married 5/25/16. Marla always provided a smile and positive attitude to every patient and coworker for more than 25 years with Park Nicollet Health Care. Everyone that knew her understood her power of optimism. Marla was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age 23, raised two sons, and never let her health keep her from walking or smiling. Marla requested no wishes for services.
