Peters, Arthur C. Age 93, died April 16, 2019 at home with loved ones. Most recently living in Swanville, MN near his son, Greg, and daughter-in-law, Dianne, but for many years in Brooklyn Center and then Brooklyn Park, MN. A Navy veteran, Art served in the South Pacific during WWII and was a member of the Swanville American Legion Post 313. Art worked at Munsingwear in Mpls for 35 years and then the Pink Company for 10 years. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 65 years, DeLoris Peters, who died on September 2, 2017. Survived by his 2 children, Gregory Peters (Dianne) of Burtrum, MN and Cynthia (Peters) Steiner (Dr. Charles) of Fairbanks, Alaska. Leaves 5 beloved granddaughters: Emily Saehr (Scott), Christine Meierhofer (Tony), Dr. Rachael Steiner (Chase Chapman), Amy Steiner (Everet Megli), Paige Steiner, and one great-grandson, Derek. A memorial service for Art with full military honors will be held on Thursday, June 6 at 11:00 a.m., at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at the committal service building (15550 Hwy 115) in Little Falls, MN followed by sharing, food, and music by Art's granddaughters at Lucky's Saloon in Swanville, MN (24 3rd St).
