Dummann, Marlo Age 78 of Oak Grove was called to heaven Feb 10, 2019. Loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. Preceded in death by brother, Delbert; parents, Ed & Alma. Survived by wife of 52 years, Vernetta; children, Brian (Sandi) Dummann & Michelle (Brian) Stein; grandchildren, Gabby, Ben, Taylor & Ashley; sister, Della Lauseng; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. He loved the Lord and was an active member of Cross of Christ Ev. Lutheran and Hope Ev. Lutheran of Andover. Marlo was past president and owner of Groups Plus Inc and was involved in insurance and benefits sales most of his life. He started and managed GMA LLC software company. He was a U.S. Army veteran, past president of East Mpls Rotary, member of St. Francis American Legion, North Metro Life Underwriters and Cedar Creek Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed spending time with family, being at the cabin, fishing and wood carving, traveling and taking up new hobbies. Visitation at HOPE LUTHERAN CHURCH (16180 Round Lake Blvd.) Friday, Feb. 22 from 6-8 PM. Memorial service Saturday, Feb. 23 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior also at the church.
