Mike age 66, Minnetonka, MN passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 7, 2019. He was born July 18, 1952 in Sisseton, SD and grew up in New Effington, SD. He later made his home in the Twin Cities. His greatest loves were sports, fishing and his family. He was a great athlete in his youth and an avid fan as an adult. He had a great sense of humor and often played practical jokes. He always had a twinkle in his eye that warmed your heart. Mike is survived by his loving mother Oriette Aagaard, his sister Rebecca (Hubert) Quaid, his nephew Samuel (Ronnie) Quaid, his niece Hannah (David) Mahrer, and his best friend Jim Pederson, along with many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his dear father Marlowe Stenson. A memorial burial service will be held at a later date in New Effington, SD. Mike loved and cared for animals. The family suggests memorials be made to the Humane Society. He will be forever loved and missed.
