Almquist, Paul Hempel Age 81 of Edina died November 7, 2018. Preceded in death by parents, Gilbert and Elsie; brother, John and sister, Muriel Huseby. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Pearl; brother, Jim; daughters, Sarah, Karen (Ron Martinson) & Heidi Strommen (John). Grandchildren, Laura, Clare, Thomas and Connor. Paul was a beloved Lutheran pastor serving at Trinity Chamberlain SD & Zion Hamill SD (1962 1965) Our Savior's Rockford IL (1965 -1968), Pontoppidan Fargo (1968-1977), Nokomis Heights Minneapolis (1977-1988), Minnetonka Lutheran (1988-1998). Memorials preferred to Augsburg University, Luther Seminary or Bethlehem Lutheran Minnetonka. Visitation Monday, November 12th from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel. Funeral Service Tuesday, November 13th at 11 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Minnetonka Campus, 16023 Minnetonka Blvd. Minnetonka.
