Hage, Lisa Born 4/22/50, died peacefully at home of glioblastoma surrounded by her family on 11/2/18. Preceded in death by her parents, George and Patricia Hassenstein. She is survived by her husband Rolf; her sons and families, Jens, his wife Martha, and Kathryn of Galesville WI; and Gordon, his wife Brooke, Hollis and Hanna of Minneapolis; her sisters Hollis Hassenstein and Laurel Shelton; nieces and nephews; cousins; in-laws; friends and library patrons in New London and St. Paul; and random passers-by. She was a wonderful wife and mother, master gardener, book lover, and animal expert. She was very kind with a wicked sense of humor and a deeply ingrained sense of justice. Her greatest joy after her family was to show others, especially children, the world of books. Her memorial will be Dec. 1 from 1-3PM at the Cremation Society of Minnesota, 7110 France Ave. Edina, MN. Memorials preferred to Alliance Housing or Heifer International.
