Fleischman, Kirk "Corky" It is with great sadness that the family of Kirk "Corky" Fleischman announces his passing from pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the age of 58 years. Corky will be forever remembered by his wife, Kathy, and his children, Chelsea and Chad, and his sisters, Kim (Richard) Lucio and Linda (Dewayne) Corey, as well as several nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. Corky was predeceased by his mother, Doris Fleischman and father, Curtis Fleischman. Corky was a life-long White Bear Lake resident, graduating from White Bear Lake High School in 1978. He was a high school all-star athlete, competing in soccer, hockey and baseball. He played for the St. Paul Vulcans Junior A hockey team, and then attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he was an All-Conference pitcher on the UMD baseball team. He truly enjoyed baseball, and played and coached the Red Rooster summer baseball team for several years. Corky's love of life and his fun sense of humor, especially when telling a story, will be missed by all his family and friends. A Celebration of Corky's Life will be held on his birthday, Friday, November 2, 2018 at The Charleston Event Center, 4525 White Bear Parkway, White Bear Lake, MN from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
