deWerff, Mary Catherine Age 93 of Minneapolis, passed away on 9/5/2018. Preceded in death by husband, J. Kenneth; son, John K; and her brother, Henry Grieser. Mary grew up in Duluth and loved the lakes and forests of Northern Minnesota. She was a graduate of Macalester College in 1946. She was a very active volunteer in the Twin Cities area working to help make life better for everyone. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother and she will be dearly missed. Survived by children, Mary Ann (Rick) Snyder, Cathy Williams; daughter-in-law, Susan; 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 2 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her sister, Margaret (Allan) Kennedy. Services will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 11am at Westminster Presbyterian church, 1200 S. Marquette Ave, Minneapolis. Private family interment will be held at Lakewood cemetery preceding the service.
