Cohen, Fredell Age 90 of Minneapolis died September 19, 2018 surrounded by her family. Fredell was born in Sioux City, IA and moved to Minneapolis to attend college at the University of Minnesota. She met the love of her life, Joe, in 1949 and they spent their days in Minneapolis where they made a loving home together. Fredell's passions were first and foremost her family, followed by playing bridge, Hadassah (where she performed many roles including President of the Minneapolis chapter), and the Minnesota Twins. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Joe; parents Louis, Gertrude, and Bess Sacks; and brother, Ormond Sacks. Survived by son, Gary (Margaret Macneale); daughter, Sheryl (Dan Fink); sister- in-law, Sharon Sacks and by many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside services 1:00 PM Friday September 21 at Adath Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery, 3800 Winnetka Ave N, Crystal MN. A gathering in Fredell's honor for family and friends will be held on Saturday September 22 from 7-9 PM at Adath Jeshurun Congregation, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Minnetonka MN (with services at 7:45 PM).
