Blesener, Kathy A. (Ostby) Age 65, of Cottage Grove died peacefully on August 7, 2018 at home in the presence of her husband, Paul; daughter, Kaitlyn; and son, Ross. Kathy had a brief, intense battle with Hepatocellular Carcinoma. She was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Marie Ostby; sister, Susan; husband, Jerry Banas-zewski; mother-in-law Mildred Bles-ener; and several uncles and aunts. Kathy is lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul; children, Kaitlyn (Jay) Melson; son, Ross; grandchildren, Hailey, Macie, and James Nolan. Kathy is also survived by brother, Lon (Nell); sisters, Linda (Bruce) Featherstone, Kristy (Jeff) Ober-priller, and Jodi (Emre) Mezaros; uncle, Soren Ostby; aunt, Lucille Sanford; brother-in-law, Charlie (Kathleen) Blesener; sister-in-law, Rose Blesener; husband, Bill Daly; sisters-in-law, Joanne (Tom) Mc-Cabe and Anita (John) Shikoski; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Saturday at LUTHER MEMORIAL CHURCH 315 15th Ave No South St. Paul. Visitation 9:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday at the church. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery.
