Monson, JoAnn Adell (Slater) 7/24/32 - 7/2/18 JoAnn was called home to heaven on July 2nd at the age of 85 surrounded by family and friends. She is preceded in death by husband, James; brother, Robert; daughter, Kathi; daughter-in-law, Claudia; and grandson, Joshua. Her love of people and travel brought her to many amazing places. And her love for God brought her into the lives of countless people whom she cherished and treated like family. She is survived by brother, Richard; daughter, Christine Gale (Dennis Schatz); son, Steven; grandchildren, Aaron (Ashley Main), Michael, Peter, Robert, and Christopher (Melissa) & 5 great-grandchildren. A celebration of JoAnn's life will be held on Tuesday, July 17th at 11 AM Family of God Lutheran Church at 8625 Zane Ave. N. Brooklyn Park. Friends & family may gather from 10-11 AM prior to service.
