Haugen, Lorraine M.E. Age 92, of N.E. Minneapolis. Preceded in death by husband Robert, parents George and Anna Johnson, and sister Doris Rehl. Deeply loved and missed already by her children Jane Krentz, Bob (Donna), and Paul (Joan); grandchildren Leah Kaufman (David), Sarah Weeks (Brian), Jeremy Krentz (Alexis), Dan Haugen (Amy), Dave Haugen (Griselda), April Haugen (Alberto), Anna Swindlehurst (Garrett) and Kristian Haugen; and her adorable great- grandchildren Gabby, Sophia, Charlie, Evie, Benjamin, Addie and Maxwell. Lorraine was devoted to her husband Bob, and deeply loved her family. She was a founding member of Faith United Methodist Church and served as the church historian for many years. She was a school secretary at Waite Park Elementary, and an active volunteer at church, school, MN Historical Society, and Meals on Wheels. She was very proud of her Swedish heritage and was a long-time member of the Minneapolis Swedish Institute, where she enjoyed taking Swedish classes. She was a participant in the Women's Health Initiative for over 20 years. Thanks to everyone who enabled Lorraine to continue to live in her home: family members, caregivers, kind neighbors and special friends. She was very happy to be at home, especially when it was warm enough to enjoy sitting in the sunshine on her porch with a cup of coffee. Visitation Thursday, June 14th from 4-7 p.m. at Washburn-McReavy -2901 Johnson Street NE. Funeral service at Faith United Methodist Church (2708 33rd Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418) on Friday, June 15th at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
