Looney, Lynne Elizabeth Formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away peacefully at her home in Naples, Florida on May 18, 2018, following a long illness. Lynne was courageous in life and in death. Lynne was born in Cartersville, Georgia on October 30th, 1951. Lynne graduated from Cartersville High School, and the University of Georgia where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Lynne spent most of her adult life working for the 3M Company in Minneapolis, MN, retiring after 37 years where she was Vice President of Advertising, Public Relations, and Digital Marketing. She enjoyed the Opera, art, fashion, and her friends. When you remember Lynne you will, most likely, remember her smile and laughter. Lynne is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd H. Looney and Julia Martin Looney, & an infant brother. There will be a graveside service for Lynne at 1pm on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, Georgia.
