Virginia Mary Wright

Wright, Virginia Mary 88, returned to her heavenly home May 19, 2018, after battling Dementia & Alzheimer's. Virginia was born to the late Philbert & Dorothy Fries, Mpls, MN on August 13, 1929. She was immersed in the Catholic faith at an early age and that firm belief gave her peace throughout. Growing up in the Great Depression shaped her into a frugal person, whom we often teased about washing plastic silverware. She took great pride in her career at Honeywell and enjoyed wearing her work windbreaker into her 80's. She was a solderer and her skills ultimately led to working on torpedos. Virginia was blessed with a large family. She married the late Milo Hendricks. This marriage brought 4 beautiful children. They later separated and she married the late Albert Wright. Together they adopted one more. She loved camping, crossword & jigsaw puzzles. It was no surprise to see her working away on some complicated puzzle. Having lived through hard circumstances, she often reminded us not to judge unless we've walked a mile in their moccasins. She is missed by her loved ones, who celebrate that she is at peace with her creator. Survived by her son, Van (Barb) Hendricks; daughters, April (Kurt) Cosman & Ginal (Kyle) Taylor; 13 grandchildren & 35 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jeff Fries & Jerry (Ruth) Fries. She is preceded in death by husband, daughters, Lynne Magel & Holly Coolidge, parents, siblings and grandson, Matthew. Burial at Crystal Lake Cemetery.
