Spindler, Robert (Bob) "The Candy Man" Died peace- fully at Meth-odist Hospital on Sat, May 19, following a brief illness. Bob was born in Milaca, MN, grew up on a farm, served proudly in the Army Air Corp, and began his career as a salesman and food broker in the Minneapolis and Tri-State area. He was a born salesman and recently retired at the age of 93 from Evers-Heilig. He cared about all his customers and touched the lives of many people along the way with his amazing humor and fierce loyalty. He will be sorely missed. Preceded in death by his beautiful wife Betty of almost 70 years. He is survived by children, Robyn Strupp, Douglas (Ruth) and Scott. He was grandfather to 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
