Walstad, Peter F. 1921 2018, age 97 of Excelsior. Preceded in death by parents Clotilde and Sandy; wife of 71 years, Mary Gluek and brother Donald. Survived by daughters Cammy (Jim), ChiChi, Petra; grandchildren Amy (Jason), Lori (Rob), Tonia, Wendy, Heather, Quinn (Jen), Mimi (Wade), John; and great-grandchildren, Abbi, Gabi, Cody, Brady, Cole, Kate, Toby, Rose, Daisy, Linnea, Rhys and M.G. Graduate of the University of Minnesota, BA and JD. Member of Alpha - Delta - Phi Fraternity. Served as an officer in the U.S. Navy from 1943 through 1945, participating in the invasions of Southern France and Okinawa. Long time Minneapolis attorney. He took his wife dancing weekly through her 97th birthday. He loved the lake - fishing, sailing, skating and also gardening, travel, good food and company. He had a mischievous sense of humor!
