Sorenson, Mason Vernon (born February 3, 1974) of the Twin Cities died surrounded by family and friends on May 13, 2018, following a heart attack. He is survived by his parents (Donn and Dawn Sorenson), his former wife (Laura) and their dog, his grandmother (Susan Sorenson), his aunts (Tami, Loretta, Kathy, Wendy, Teresa) and uncles (Bruce, Duane, John, Joe, Jerry, Dennis), countless cousins, and one of the deepest, strongest communities of friends and loved ones ever known.

Mason attended Woodbury High School, ,St. John's University and William Mitchell College of Law. Passionate about water, nature, wind energy, travel and music, he found his church in the outdoors. His booming, joyous, generous laughter filled a room of any size and echoes in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a future charitable donation in his name. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, with a gathering to begin at 1:00 at Washburn-McReavy Nokomis Park Chapel, 1838 E. Minnehaha Parkway, Minneapolis (Washburn-McReavy.com, 612-721-1651). Please feel free to contact Washburn-McReavy with questions.

We are so grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and stories from all of those who knew and loved Mason.  Thank you for celebrating his remarkable life with us.
