Kuhn, Barbara "BJ" Age 66 of Minneapolis, passed peacefully with family on May 15, after a 7 year battle with cancer. She is survived by her adoring husband, Bill Sjoholm, daughters Lindsay (Nick) Lenhardt and Anika (Sakal) Heng, grandsons Greyson and Holden, siblings Cathy (Fernando) Menendez and George Kuhn, and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents Alta and Morris Kuhn. Born and raised in Morgan, Minnesota, BJ was valedictorian of her high school and earned a BA with distinction from U of M Morris, and a JD, Cum Laude, from U of M Law School. Her compassion for others was evident in all aspects of her life. For almost 40 years she represented low-income clients as an attorney for Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. Whether she was playing tennis, walking the lakes, golfing, traveling, vacationing on Madeline Island, or spending time with family and friends, BJ lived life to the fullest. She will forever be remembered for her selfless, kind, and gentle nature. Memorial Service 11 AM Monday, May 21 at The House of Hope Presbyterian Church, 797 Summit Ave., St. Paul, MN.
