Jorgensen, Mark G. Age 90 of North Oaks, MN passed away peacefully on Sunday May, 13th after a short but valiant battle with bone cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Evelyn; his children, Mark (Marlene Werner) Jorgensen, Mike (Ann) Jorgensen, Deb (Jeff) Obey, and Mitch (Karen) Jorgensen; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dona (Phillip) Andrews; brother-in-law, Allan Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in Litchfield, MN. Upon graduation from high school, he joined the army and served with distinction, including a stint in Korea. He graduated with honors from Gustavus Adolphus, and then went on to earn a law degree at William Mitchell. His love of business, and the printing industry, altered his career as a lawyer in a different direction into a position as an operations manager for a successful printing company, and then later he truly found his passion as the founder of Impressions Inc. Mark was well known and very active in the printing industry, and received numerous regional as well as national awards including Graphic Arts of the Americas leader of the year in 1999. He loved to travel, including some of the most exotic locations in the world, and took many wonderful photos of these trips that fill volumes of photo albums. He also loved spending time with his family, especially at his beloved lake cottage in Hayward, WI, his second home. He was an avid collector, and eventually acquired an autograph of every president of the United States. Private family services will be held at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM-PURCELL Funeral Home, Shoreview, MN. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Mpls. at a later date.
