Butler, Mary Jane age 87 of Farmington, formerly of Burnsville, died April 26, 2018 peacefully at home in the care of her family. Preceded in death by loving husband of 66 years, Phillip; parents, Elden and Myrtle Hansen; sister, Audrey Phillpott and infant son. She is loved and will be deeply missed by children Jeff, Julie Faulkner (Steve), Cheryl, Richard (Lana), Joe (Kerry), and David (Lisa). Grandchildren Jack, Audrey Thompson (Bobby), Creanna, Alex, Sydney, Ashley, Stephanie and Grace. Brother, Harold Hansen (Susan). Along with many wonderful family and friends. Born in St. Paul, her family then moved to "Nordeast" Minneapolis, attending Edison High School. A Registered Nurse, graduate of Swedish Hospital School of Nursing she was proud of her nursing career working at Swedish Hospital and the VA Medical Center. Amazing all as she worked full time while raising 6 kids. Mary Jane lived a full and happy life, she enjoyed family, music, traveling, genealogy research and cheering for her favorite team the Minnesota Twins. Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Monday April 30, 2018 at the White Funeral Home Chapel, 12804 Nicollet Ave S., Burnsville (952-894-5080) with a visitation starting at 9 AM. Interment, Sunset Memorial Gardens in Minneapolis. Celebration of Mary Jane's Life will continue at JAX Cafe April 30, 1 PM, 1928 University Ave Northeast, Minneapolis 55418. In lieu of flowers memorials will be donated to Disabled Veterans.
