Currie, William Taylor Age 70 of Savage. A loving husband, father and bapa died April 18, 2018 in Edina, MN surrounded by family. Born July 28, 1947 in Long Branch, New Jersey to Edward and Bertha Currie of Matawan, New Jersey. Preceded in death by parents, Edward and Bertha Currie; sister, Janet Currie and son, William "Billy" Taylor Currie the Second. Survived by Kate, wife of 48 years; sons, Matt (Pamela) and Alex (Sarah); grandchildren, Amanda, Taylor, Brennan, Cameron; brother, David Currie, and nephew, Paul Sproul. He lost a 4 month fight with cancer. Thank you to the Masonic Cancer Center Oncology Team, and the ICU staff at Fairview Southdale Hospital. Funeral Service 2:00 p.m., Sunday April 22nd at Richfield United Methodist Church, 5835 Lyndale Ave. S., Mpls. with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Richfield United Methodist Church, or the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota.
