Paulus, Stephen T. Age 76 of Champlin, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018, following a 23 year long battle with prostate cancer. Steve was born in Minneapolis on Feb. 25, 1942 to Ferdinand and Adelia Paulus. He graduated from DeLaSalle High School in 1960 and then attended Dunwoody Institute. Steve was the owner of Sundown Construction Company and retired in 2004. Steve and his wife Patricia enjoyed spending time in their homes in Minnesota and Arizona. His hobbies included restoring cars and woodworking. Steve was preceded in death by Baby Girl Paulus and his brother David. He is survived by his wife Patricia, children Timothy (Patricia) Paulus, Liesa Bergstrom, Thomas (Lezlie) Paulus, Susan (Dennis) Rusco, Scott Jasper, Julie (John) Edstrom, and Nick (Jamie) Jasper, 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and sister Pam (Al) Fehn. A visitation will be held Sunday (Today) April 22, 2018 from 5-8pm at Thurston- Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave. Anoka. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 525 Jackson St. Anoka on Monday April 23, 2018 at 10am with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
