Oehlke, Bertha A. On Wednesday, April 18, 2018; Bertha passed away at Cherry- wood Pointe Senior Living at the age of 89. She was surrounded by her devoted family. Born at home to Adolph and Maria Pritzel in Lakeland Township on Saturday, July 25th, 1928; Bertha began her life of service. She worked at 3M until marrying Clifford Oehlke in 1954. After the marriage celebration, they moved to Denmark Township and raised four children and two nieces. She continued serving her community by delivering for Meals on Wheels and teaching Sunday School. In 1974, she moved to Dodge County and remained engaged with her community through 4-H, Grace Lutheran's Couples' Club, and always helping a neighbor in need. After Clifford's passing, Bertha moved to Plymouth to be closer to family and rarely missed a Bible Study at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church. She is preceded in death by her husband Clifford, her siblings Elizabeth Pritzel, Carl Pritzel and Johanna Heining. She is survived by children, Kathy (Phil) Adam, Paul (Kristen) Oehlke, Carol (Larry) Lipschultz, John (Aleida) Oehlke; grandchildren, David and Marie Adam, Jessica (Curtis) Westhoff, Michael Lipschultz, Abigail (Gary) Tesar, Krista Oehlke, and great- grandchildren, Asher and Annabelle Westhoff. Special thanks to the staff of Cherrywood Pointe who cared for Bertha in the last month of her life with such love. Memorials to: American Heart Association or donor's choice. Funeral service 11:00 am Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Glory of Christ Lutheran Church, 4040 Highway 101 North, Plymouth.
