Kane, Robert F. Age 68 of Sauk Centre, MN, died peacefully at home surrounded by family after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Bob worked at Kane Transport in Sauk Centre for 33 years, working as a driver, dispatcher, salesman and ending his career as CEO of family business. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, April 20 at Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre and from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday at Our Lady of the Angels Church. Survivors include: wife of 43 years, Gail Kane; daughter, Angela (Chris) Haas of Burnsville; sons, Pete (Ellen) Kane of Inver Grove Heights and Pat (Brittany)Kane of Sauk Centre; 6 grandchildren with one due in June; sister, Claren Kane of Sauk Centre; brother, Michael (Roxanne) Kane of Sauk Centre; and other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, William & Lucille Kane; brothers, Thomas Kane and David Kane; and father and mother-law, Harry and Lorraine Gamradt. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Holy Family School of Sauk Centre. Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Sauk Centre.
