Olson, Arthur L. "Art" age 91 of Deerwood died on March 22, 2018 at the VA Health Care in St. Cloud. He was born on November 8, 1926 in Minne apolis to Gustaf "Al" and Lillie Olson. Art was retired U.S. Navy veteran with 21 years of service. He served as a Sea Bee during WWII and as an electrician during the Korean Conflict and until his retirement in 1968. Art is survived by one son; Arthur L. (Lisa) Olson Jr. of Brooklyn Park; two daughters, Patricia (James) Cedar of Plymouth and Josephine L. Olson of Crosby; six grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Preceding Art in death are his parents; his wife, Phyllis "Pat" in 1959; and a daughter, Helen Marie Pepple from Anoka. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby with military honors given by Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Wednesday.
