Owen, Leon Percy Age, 56, of Rockford, MN formerly of Prairie Island, died Sunday, Mar. 18 2018 at his home. He was born on November 5, 1961 in Red Wing and grew up and attended schools in the western part of the Twin Cities. He was employed with various businesses doing automotive and roofing work. He was a creative and talented person and always very generous. He was a good friend too all and could always be counted on. He enjoyed wood carving and hunting. He is survived by his children, Chad, Brooke and Jasmine Owen and Natalie and Andrew Ross; one brother Ed (Tina) Jefferson and his extended family at Prairie Island. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Prairie Island Community Center, 1158 Island Blvd., Welch, MN. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m., Monday, March 26, at the Community Center and continue until the time of the service.
