Ferraro, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Age 85, of New Brighton, formerly of N.E. Mpls, passed away peacefully at her home on March 20, 2018. Preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Elizabeth Mastrian, sister Evelyn (Toots), and brother Eugene (Sonny). Survived by her husband James of 66 years; son Michael (Denise) Ferraro; daughter Annette (David) Perzel; daughter Teresa (Vincent) Griffith; also siblings: Elaine Boyce, Evonne Mastrian, Kathy (Jerry) Ludke along with other loving family members and her four legged grandpets: Sienna, Rufus, and Willis. Betty was an excellent Italian cook who enjoyed baking, Bingo, knitting, and sewing. Her knitted scarves and slippers kept us all warm as did her heart during many happy times. She will be greatly missed. Special thanks to nurses Carrie Herkel and Gayle Laughlin for care they selflessly gave. Evening visitation Tuesday (3/27/2018) 5-7PM at Washburn McReavy, 2901 Johnson St. N.E., Mpls. Funeral Mass Wednesday (3/28/2018) 11AM with visitation one hour prior at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 701 Filmore St. N.E., Mpls. Lunch to follow. Internment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to the American Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer's Association.
