Farley, Michael Daniel Michael Daniel Farley died March 21, just shy of his 83rd birthday, surrounded by his family after fighting against an aggressive cancer that ended his life too soon. Preceded in death by brother John (Korean War), and parents Miriam Devereux and John Harold Farley. Mike is survived by his brother Kevin; Jan, his wife of 55 years; his children Sue Kerr (Mark), Mike Jr. (Sue), and Liz Schoenecker (Paul); his grandchildren who were the light of his life, Tynan and John Kerr, Grace (Ella) and Ruth Farley and Abby and Molly Schoenecker; and Farley and Chiodo nieces and nephews. Mike was born and raised in Minneapolis attending the Basilica, St. Thomas Academy, West High School, and the University of Minnesota. He loved playing cards and backgammon, attending Gopher football games, skating, water skiing, doing crossword puzzles and especially spending time with his family who are already missing him.
