Rosemary Kay Follett

Follett, Rosemary Kay Age 80, of Mounds View, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 17, 2018. She was born in Estherville, Iowa and was our adored aunt, sister, and friend. She gave of her time to bless others, creating joy, laughter and many silly moments. She was creative to her core, sewing everything from 1,000 pairs of wool mittens, to wedding dresses and baby gifts. She loved her flower gardens and traveling, especially with dear friends. She had no children of her own, but had MANY students in the 38 years she taught 1st grade, First in California, then for 33 years at Sunnyside Elementary in Mounds View, MN. She took teaching SERIOUSLY, dressing up for holidays, creating both a place of learning, and love. She doted on her many nieces and nephews DEEPLY, along with many close friends. She will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel Follett, brothers Robert and Daryl Follett, and sister Majorie. Survived by sister, Jean, 89 of Wichita, Kansas. Many thanks to Fairview Hospice for their gentle and patient care, and also for the aides and staff of the Bel Rae Senior Living Center in Mounds View for their dedicated care and love. Her last days on earth were spent with people she Loved around her. Celebration of her life will be: Tuesday, April 10th at 11 AM, with visitation 1 hour prior, Tree of Life Church, 3905 Woodland Rd, Lexington, MN 55014. Feel free to wear spring colors/florals, her favorite. Interment: Worthington, MN. Twin Cities Cremation 651-645-1233
