Dorothy Goldstein

Goldstein, Dorothy Passed away Sunday March 18. Dorothy was born in Minneapolis on January 16, 1920 and stayed in Minneapolis all her life. She assisted her husband with the family business "Century Camera" for many years. Dorothy loved theater, music, movies, bridge, walking the lakes, coming to Temple Israel and had an innate curiosity that helped her to always be "in the know". Dorothy was a strong woman with a great sense of humor and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Goldstein; son, Paul Elliot Goldstein, and her parents Miriam (Mary) and Meyer Gold. Survived by son and daughter in law, Bruce and Rivka Goldstein; grandchildren, Maggie Manelis (Leor), Lindsay Goldstein, Hayley Goldstein, Yosef Pinchas Goldstein, Carole Rein, Beth Frost, Matt Goldstein (Joanna); great-grand-children, Shira Leah and Noa Ellie Manelis, Melissa, Jessica and Nick Thiede, Carissa and Morgan Goldstein and daughters in law, Martha Albrecht, Susan Lewis and Cathy Bratter. Special thanks to Dorothy's incredible and exceptional caregivers, Bonnie Chazin, Paula Quinn, Jim Braseth as well as the wonderful care she received from the home-hospice caregivers at Methodist Park Nicollet. Also special appreciation to Rabbi Marcia Zimmerman and Cantor Barry Abelson for their love and caring. Funeral service 3 PM Tuesday (TODAY) at Temple Israel, 2323 Fremont Ave. S. Mpls.
