Benson, Shirlee A. (Shand) Age 82 of Burnsville, MN passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the presence of family. She was a retired federal employee. Survived by husband of 62 years, William, children Tim (Shawn), Matt (Jacqui), Laura (Paul) Peterson, Eric (Sandy), Tracy, 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, siblings John (Beverly), Donald (Donna), Muriel, Bill, Margaret Johnson, Dan (Bonnie) and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by siblings Archie, Lorraine, Jim, granddaughter Colleen Benson, and beloved dog Gus. A Memorial Service will be held 11AM on Thursday, March 22nd at Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave S. Edina, MN with a visitation 1 hour prior. Interment at a later date.
