Rassmussen, Donald C. 86, of Clearwater, Florida (Grand Rapids, MN and Burnsville, MN) passed away peacefully on March 9th, 2018 on wife Geraldine's Birthday. His parents, 5 brothers and beautiful wife Geraldine preceded him in death. Survived by his brother, Dennis (Tats) and sister Bonnie. Also survived by his nine children; David (Mary), Gary, Colleen (Curtis), Mark (Sandy), Mary (Scott), Jim, Janet (Mark), Beth (Steve), Scott (Connie) and many loving relatives and friends. Papa adored his 19 grandchildren and MANY great-grandchildren! Special thanks to his friends at the Japanese Garden in Clearwater. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, April 28, 11:00 at Saint Joseph, 8701 36th Ave. N., New Hope, MN 55427. Visitation at St. Joseph's from 9:30-11 prior to Mass. Interment at Fort Snelling on April 30th at 10 a.m. Papa Don would ALWAYS remind us, "Give each other a hug from me." We will cherish this phrase forever!
