Roman, Thomas A. 75, of St. Anthony passed away at home on 14 March 2018. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marcella "Stella" (Gergen), children Katrina (Peter) Gerenz, Maria, Michelle, JoAnna (Michael) Roesch, and Laura; two grandchildren; and siblings Michael (Jan), Marylin (Norman) Betzer, Ruth (Duane) Yoch, Edward (Roseann), Teresa (Kevin) Fristad, and Regina (Doug Graham). He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Leona. Tom was born in Chicago, IL on 5 September 1942. After serving in the U.S. Air Force from 1963-67 he earned degrees from South Dakota State University and the University of St. Thomas. He was an engineer at heart and never stopped tinkering. Above all, he was devoted to growing his faith and nurturing his family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 20 March from 5:00-7:00 PM, beginning with a prayer service at Billman Hunt Funeral Chapel, 2701 Central Ave NE, Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial preceded by one hour visitation will be celebrated on Wednesday, 21 March at 11:00 AM. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 2739 Stinson Blvd NE, St. Anthony. Interment at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery, 8151 42nd AVE N, New Hope.
