Mary Ann Bouta

Bouta, Mary Ann of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on her birthday, March 9, at the age of 51. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Margaret Bouta, brother Dennis Bouta, and nephew Brian Bouta. She is survived by her loving father, Alfred (Bud) Bouta and her siblings Bonny (Ron) Paetznick, Bruce (Anne) Bouta, and Jerry (Laurie) Bouta, her sister-inlaw, Julie Bouta, 11 nieces and nephews and their 20 children. Mary graduated from E J Cooper High School in New Hope, MN, with honors. She received her BA in psychology from the University of Minnesota and obtained a law degree from the William Mitchell College of Law. She went on to become a certified financial planner. Our dear Mary was a beautiful and talented woman who bravely faced the challenges of the mental health disease of addiction in her latter years. She always tried to give back whether it be through grocery shopping for infirmed neighbors, or volunteering in a local food shelf. She loved to visit with her dad to play a mean game of cribbage or Trivial Pursuit, or just to have a good conversation. We loved her very much and will miss her deeply. Services will be held at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel 5000 West 50th & Highway 100 Edina, MN 55436 this Friday, March 16. Visitation 12:30-1:30. Service begins at 1:30. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Mary's name to the food shelf she supported: InnerFaith Outreach and Community Partners iocp.org Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel 952-920-3996
