Kalleberg, Kermit Lars Age 88, of Buffalo, formerly of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2018. Preceded in death by his parents, Lars and Karen Kalleberg; brother, Arthur (Joan) Kalleberg; and son-in-law, Randy Stevens. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Grace; daughter, Susan Stevens; sons, Timothy and Philip (Julie); five grandchildren, Stephanie (Paul), Kelsey, Dylan (Christina), Kayla (Corey), Katy (Wyatt); and seven great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Kermit was employed by the Creamette Pasta Company for 33 years. He was an active member of Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, which he cherished as his home away from home. His unwavering faith and commitment to Jesus Christ guided Kermit throughout his life. He loved spending time with family and he loved photography! Dad was an "old school" film photographer who constantly had the light meter out and was always switching lenses and filters to get that perfect pic. As children we had to endure hours of slide shows at every family event! Kermit and Grace's marriage was the epitome of a faith based, loved filled partnership. Their love for each other was unwavering and a joy to be part of. He will be missed by all but his legacy lives on with those who have done their best to follow the example of the life he lived. Service 11 AM Friday, March 16, 2018, at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church, 5929 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment Lakewood Cemetery, Mpls. Evans-Nordby 763-533-3000 evansnordby.com
