Miller, Anne Walker (Corlis) Age 90, died peacefully on February 16th, 2018 in her home in West St. Paul, MN. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert Lawrence Miller, their children Barbara (David) Tigan, Mary (Sam) Claassen, Debra (Allen) Saunders, Martin (Catherine) Miller, Mary Virginia (Will) DeSanto, Michael (Patricia) Miller, Anne (Thomas) Albers, Thomas (Catherine) Miller, and Jeanne (Michael) Oberg, numerous grandchildren and great grand- children, her brother Louis (Carol) Corlis, and their family. She was preceded in death by her parents John Corlis and Jean Malone Corlis, son John, son-in-law David E Tigan, & grandson John Paul Miller. Anne was born on March 30th, 1927 in Evanston, IL. and lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa until Bob and she moved to Minneapolis in 1978. She graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1945 and attended Clarke College in Dubuque. Anne was married to Bob at St. Patrick's Church in Cedar Rapids on May 24th, 1947. Anne's life was devoted to serving others. Her faith was the source of a love that was shared with every person she met, whether it was one of her children, a struggling family, or a complete stranger. Anne's love was rooted in God and was unconditional. She desired nothing more than to introduce the love of Jesus Christ to all she encountered. Anne's faith also inspired her involvement in many activities outside of raising her family, including Cursillo, Birthright, Serra Club, the Carmelites, and the many Catholic parishes to which she belonged. Anne was a member of People of Praise for 40 years and will be missed dearly by the members of that community. In addition to her 10 children, Anne was blessed with 45 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren. These are her legacy, a family blessed with her love and who desire to follow her example of selfless sacrifice to everyone she encountered. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Friday, February 23 at the Church of St. Joseph, 1154 Seminole Ave., W. St. Paul. Visitation Thursday, Feb. 22, 4-7:30 PM with 7 PM prayer service at Trinity School at River Ridge, 601 River Ridge Parkway, Eagan and Friday at St Joseph's beginning at 10:30 AM. Int.
