Svoboda, Edward Jr. Age 78 of Center City, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, February 18, 2018. Preceded in death by sisters Joan and Marlene, and brother Ronald. Survived by wife of 60 years, Donna; daughters, Katherine (James) Dolan, Christine (Paul) Brown, and Diana (Brian) Nelson; grandchildren, Stephanie (Joseph), Michelle (Jeremy), Sarah (Nick), Cassandra (Anthony), Shari (Shane), James (Karise), and Jacquelin (Scott); great-grandchildren, Katrina, Chase, Nathan, Camryn, Courtney, Lillian, Logan, Grace, Ava, Lucas, Raena, Patrick and Noah; Brothers, Jack (Carole), George (Debbie), Richard (Rebecca); Sister: Carol and Brother-in-law Gary and Sister-in-Law Mary Lou and many other relatives and friends. Ed was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and enjoyed spending time at the cabin, hunting, and as much time with his family and friends as possible. Memorial service Saturday, February 24, at 11AM and visitation at 10AM at Cremation Society of Minnesota, 4343 Nicollet Ave. So., Minneapolis (612-825-2435). Celebration of Life this summer.
