Sawyer, John Donald Age 87 of Bloomington, died peacefully on February 16, 2018. Preceded in death by his mother Esther, and stepdaughter Patty. Survived by his loving wife Joyce of 55 years, children Jean (Pat), Susan, Michael, Vicki (Bruce), Nancy (Ken), Cathie (Dave), stepsons Don and Tom, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. John was a dedicated Minneapolis Firefighter for 41 years. His true loves in life were his wife Joyce, family, and skiing. Private family memorial service. Memorials preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.
