Okrent, Susan Wolf "Cesia" age 94 or so, beloved wife of the late Samuel Okrent, passed peacefully on February 7th . The sole surviving holocaust survivor of her family, she was born in Poland and immigrated to Minneapolis in 1949. Mother to Jack, Mike (Lynn Pollack), Alice (Larry Wertheim), David, Shirley (Mark Lerner) and Steve Okrent and loving grandmother of Abby and Alex (deceased) Okrent; Joel (Betsy) and Ira Wertheim; Lindsay and Sam Okrent; and Oliver, Charlotte, Miles and Clara Lerner. Also survived by her great grandchildren Naomi and Maya Wertheim. A tough, bright and funny woman, who came to this country to start a new life not knowing anyone or the language. She managed to persevere, thrive and instill in her six children the values needed to have full and successful lives. She will be remembered and missed by all.
